Behavioural Health (Psychiatry)
Psychiatry is a medical specialty concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental health conditions. Psychiatrists use various forms of psychological, medications and physical treatments, in various settings (hospitals, clinics, community) to help patients recover from mental health conditions.
At Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong, we have in place an experienced team of psychiatry professionals who diagnose patients’ conditions and treat patients with mild mental health conditions, providing holistic care including pharmaceutical and psychological support to patients.
Our Behavioural Health Clinic provides outpatient psychiatry services such as consultation, assessment, therapy and counselling. Our hospital also provides inpatient services for patients aged 14 or above with stable physical conditions, and not requiring acute medical treatments, have access to our Daylily Ward upon referrals and/or recommendations by psychiatrists.
